Before you start
Lime coating behaves differently from acrylic: it dries more slowly, absorbs light in its own way, and does not forgive haste. Knowing four things in advance, you will finish the wall correctly the first time — with no rework at your own cost.
Foundation
Dry, firm, level, free of dust and salts. Uneven absorption is the main cause of stains that appear only after drying. Primer equalises absorption — do not skip this step.
Indoor conditions
Not in a draught, not under direct sunlight, not on a cold wall. The material must dry evenly across the entire surface — otherwise the tone will blotch, and that cannot be corrected.
Coverage and Layer
Thinner layers, applied in more coats, are always better than a single thick one: thickness invites cracking. Precise values for each collection are in the technical data sheet — we keep nothing hidden.
Time
Second coat — once the first has set. Wet colour is not the same as dry: lime lightens as it cures. Do not show the result to the client until the surface has fully dried.
Technical data sheets, safety data sheets, application guides and certificates are available for every collection — openly, without requests or correspondence. We deliberately keep them separate rather than bundling them into a single archive: there are many coatings, and each document must correspond precisely to the collection you are working with today. Otherwise it is all too easy to pick up the wrong figures.
